AC Transit EasyPass

The AC Transit EasyPass is available for benefits-eligible hospital employees living in the East Bay. The ZIP code in your home address listed on eConnect must be an eligible East Bay ZIP code to qualify.

Eligible - Hospital Staff are eligible if they meet all of the following conditions below:

• Work 20 or more hours per week
• Receive regular Hospital benefits
• Are at Stanford primarily for employment
• Residence address is not on Stanford property (outside of the 94304, 94305, and 94309 ZIP codes*)
• Residence address is in an eligible East Bay ZIP code*
• Are not in a classification listed under "Not eligible"
  

Not Eligible - Hospital Staff are NOT eligible if they meet any of the following conditions below:

• Temporary and casual employees and contractors
• Employees working less than 20 hours per week
• Anyone whose residence address in the HR database has a 94304, 94305, 94309 ZIP code*
• Anyone whose residence address in the HR database has a blank ZIP code*
• employees whose residence address is not in an eligible East Bay ZIP code*
  

* Proof of residence off Stanford property will not be accepted for ineligible (94304, 94305, 94309) or blank ZIP codes in the Stanford Transportation database and no exceptions can be made.

If you reside in an eligible East Bay ZIP code, the EasyPass will be automatically loaded to your Stanford Medicine Clipper Card within 9-12 days of becoming eligible. If you are eligible and have not yet received your Clipper Card, you can submit a request online through the Luum Commuter Platform* below:

* Please note: due to the Stanford University winter closure, No new transit pass requests will be processed between 12/12/2023 - 12/31/2023. Effective January 1, 2024, management and assignment of hospital staff transit passes will be overseen by Stanford Medicine Transportation Services (previously Stanford University).

The AC Transit EasyPass is valid for the full calendar year, seven days a week, with no restriction on use. The AC Transit EasyPass works on all AC Transit lines, including the Dumbarton Express. Use AC Transit on your commute or to travel all around Alameda and Contra Costa Counties on your days off.

Oakland, Fremont, Hayward, Berkeley, Richmond, San Leandro, Alameda, Castro Valley, Newark, San Pablo, El Cerrito, San Lorenzo, Ashland, Albany, Cherryland, El Sobrante, Piedmont, Fairview, Emeryville, Kensington, East Richmond Heights, Milpitas, Pinole, Union City, San Francisco, and selected areas in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties.
