Transportation Services is piloting a program that will provide eligible employees with a Caltrain station parking permit (valued at $82.50) in exchange for not purchasing a monthly parking permit for the Stanford Medicine Palo Alto Campus.

The program is only available on a first come, first served basis and only for the first 200 employees.

New Employees

  1. Must be a full time (25+ hours/week) and benefited Stanford Health Care or Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital employee.
  2. Apply for the program within the first 30 days of employment – 30 days starting from New Employee Orientation for Stanford Health Care and Team Members On-boarding for Stanford Children’s Health.
  3. Must enroll in Commute Club Clean Air Cash (CAC) program BEFORE applying for the program. Click Here to enroll.

Existing Employees

  1. Must be a full time (25+ hours/week) and benefited Stanford Health Care or Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital employee.
  2. Must have held an active monthly Stanford University parking permit or purchased a Pasteur Staff Garage (PSG) daily parking permit more than 5 times/month for the past 3 months.
  3. Must enroll in Commute Club Clean Air Cash (CAC) program BEFORE applying for the program. Click Here to enroll.

  2. If you are selected for the program, you will be notified via email
    • If you applied prior to the 15th of the month, you will receive parking for the next month (e.g., apply by July 15th to receive parking for August)
    • If you applied after the 15th of the month, you will receive parking for the month after next (e.g., apply July 16th through August 15th to receive parking for September
  3. Receive your permit and start parking at Caltrain for FREE!
    • Permits can be picked up in person at the Transportation Pop-Up located near the 500 Pasteur shuttle stop
